What I did this week is I created light painting with setting my setting dial S (Shutter Speed) to 15 seconds and it automatically did the rest of the IOS and the aperture. To get the food coloring i had to set my shutter to 1/200. To get the strawberry's I messed around trying to get the different angles.
I created these images by using the studio lights and a tank and a lemon and a lime. The shutter speed was set to 1/180, aperture was set to f/ 5.6, and the ISO was set to 400. I edited the tank out and the wood out in Photoshop. Some of the difficulties were getting the timing right and the correct lighting. I would change the way we placed the lights and instead of having them on the side maybe on top and bottom and see what happens then.
This assignment was fun and creative by letting us take our own photos and creating them into geometric abstract images. First she wanted us to take one of our photos from our file explorer and open Adobe Illustrator. Create the design you want for your picture to be in and then save and go into Adobe Photoshop. From there you rearrange the pieces into the others to make it look like a scrambled puzzle. The finale product of my image is what I think is good because it does look like a unfinished puzzle.
